Flood Mitigation

Commissioner Fitzpatrick continues to address flooding issues throughout Pasco County. She has successfully lobbied for additional funding from the State of Florida to address immediate flooding issues and her continued efforts have allowed for projects to be completed that will protect the livelihoods of homeowners and keep them living safely in their homes.

Economic Growth

Decisions that lead to smart growth and sustainable development are necessary when considering the future of Pasco County. Commissioner Fitzpatrick advocates for solutions that will present employment opportunities that not only provide current economic gain but long-term sustainable growth throughout the county. She recently initiated a plan to prohibit new multi-family constructions in commercial zones that could negatively impact job creation.

Family Wellness

Creating initiatives that assist families throughout Pasco with financial management, education, health and wellness, legal advice, and no cost or affordable services is a priority. Commissioner Fitzpatrick is an active proponent of services and institutions concerned with the physical, social, and psychological well-being of our children.

Public Safety

As a strong proponent of law enforcement and first responders, Commissioner Fitzpatrick has advocated for increased resources to be provided to departments that affect public safety throughout Pasco County. She advocates for proper pay and staffing to be made available in those areas that require it the most.

Small Business

Small businesses are the beating heart of our local economy and play an integral role in fostering community growth. Commissioner Fitzpatrick serves on the board of the Pasco Economic Development Council and works closely alongside organizations that promote the continued growth of small businesses throughout Pasco County.

Veterans & Seniors

Commissioner Fitzpatrick has respect and admiration for our veterans and understands that both veterans and senior citizens need to be provided with more dynamic assistance when concerning access to programs available to them. She serves on the board of Pasco's Area Agency on Aging and continually explores new opportunities to improve what is currently offered.
